Kiersten Renée Nichols was born in California in 1992. She now resides with her family in Rhode Island, which consists of her mother, younger brothers, her cat Luna, and her two huskies Shadow and Koda. She graduated from Smithfield High School in 2010, and briefly attended CCRI where she studied English. She first began writing when she was in Middle School under the pen name Kayari of Midnight, and some of her old stories are still freely available online to read.
