Four long years have passed since the Kinship of the Twilight Moon was gathered. The Dragon may have been slain, but things didn't magically get better as they had once hoped. Keaira now struggles with mysterious headaches that interfere with her Psychic powers and begins having unsettling dreams about the Twilight Dragon and the mysterious Orienne look-alike who recently showed up out of nowhere, Eve Verity. Keaira has never had the gift of Foresight before, but she fears that her dreams could spell doom for them all. When Eve mysteriously vanishes, Keaira and the others understand at last that their task was left unfinished. Aine prepares to forsake her exile and return to the dangerous world of Eidolon, bringing with her the rest of the Kinship and endangering the lives of her friends to finish what her sister set her out to do.
